Last month we mentioned Corey's Award-winning Photo and article in the South Carolina Outdoor Press Excellence in Craft Competition. This month is my turn to mention two column's that won awards in the same competition.
"Thanks, Harry" was published in the Tryon Daily Bulletin and explains a bit about the history of Congaree National Park. The Park is there, in large part, to a man named Harry Hampton. You can read the column here: Thanks, Harry
The second column that won multiple awards was, "Raising Weird Kids", also published in the Tryon Daily Bulletin. The inspiration for this piece struck before sunrise on New Years Day with my great friend hunting partner in crime. We watched as our young kids laughed in a pitch-black swamp with one flashlight between the three of them. Feel free to read it here: Raising Weird Kids
This weekend we are headed to Black's Camp on Lake Moultrie to fish with the legend Kevin Davis. Keep a watch on our facebook/instagram for some fish pictures
Our next post in 2 weeks will have some great gift ideas for Christmas.
Have a great week!

For families and nature lovers inspired by the spirit of exploration, Lakeview Cannobio Camping & Resort offers a scenic retreat on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Whether you're checking the Webcam Cannobio for a live look at lakeside calm or using the Lago Maggiore Webcam to plan your next nature-inspired adventure, our resort is where curiosity, connection, and a little bit of weirdness are always welcome.
